Introduction:

Just to say “House-it”

The Sandpit is an old long established builders merchant supplying primarily those initial Buildware requirements eg. Sands, stone, bricks, cement, timber etc. in and around the Johannesburg and near reef areas. This, at highly competitive rates, but more importantly with a reputation for an excellent delivery service.

Our large and diverse vehicle fleet includes mechanical brick off loading, tipper trucks, flat back units and our newly installed small side tipping vehicles for off loading at those awkward and difficult to reach on site areas, as well as entry into city centre building basement parking areas. In addition we do undertake an after hours delivery service to cater for those traffic congestion periods.

Our product range extends well beyond those “wet trade” items as mentioned above, which includes windows, doorframes, ceilings, dry-walling products, Rhinolite, plumbing and sewerage, electrical, timber, boards, tools, gutters, etc, etc.

Our operations extend to all aspects of the construction industry including commercial, industrial and residential, this per our knowledgeable staff and efficient usage of our own vehicle fleet and highly experienced staff.

Our Head Office base is border Germiston and Johannesburg gives us the advantage of reaching our clientele in an efficient and effective manner thus allowing us the facility of competently servicing the end user. Our premises are readily accessible to those that feel collection of their daily fundamental building material is better suited and the competent staff and infrastructure allow for this to be done in an expedited way.

Our product range exists in the “Fundamental Building Materials” range, which in the main is the supply of all materials that make up the super structure of the construction project. From foundation material and reinforcing to the chimneys over the roof tiles and everything that consists in between, including all tools and hardware.
